The Latin American Council for Media Advertising (LAMAC), a non-profit organization financed by 56 international Premium Video channels, belonging to the eight companies that lead multinational media in Latin America, announced that Mónica Dávila has been promoted to director of Marketing and Communications. Enrique R. Martínez, president of the LAMAC Board of Directors, made the announcement.
“LAMAC has always been focused on strengthening and promoting the value proposition that our members offer to the Latin American market and this includes the development of tools, information, and more recently, forums such as the first Premium Video Advertising Summit, which Monica led”, Martinez commented. “She has been crucial to the success of the LAMAC organization and her rise is yet another example of her talent and ability to grow in the face of new challenges and bring innovative strategies to the table.”
Dávila began her career at LAMAC in 2012 and over the years has demonstrated a keen understanding of the business and has risen to the challenge of new opportunities within the company. This has allowed her career growth within LAMAC, encompassing a variety of roles including Marketing, Project Management, Communications, and her most recent promotion as Director of Marketing and Communications. Most recently, Dávila was responsible for developing and executing the first Premium Video Advertising Summit, which was held in Miami, Florida on November 4, 2019 and had more than 200 people in attendance.
In her new role, Dávila will be responsible for managing all of LAMAC’s internal and external communications, ensuring consistency across various areas, including public relations, marketing and digital media, and working closely with member teams to ensure that their message and promotion are clear throughout the Latin American market.
